The Columbus Jazz Orchestra, led by renowned trumpeter Byron Stripling, kicks off its 2017-2018 season with "A CJO 45th Anniversary Extravaganza!" featuring saxophone great Joshua Redman, along with a world premiere written and conducted by bassist, composer, bandleader John Clayton, featuring up-and-coming pianist Micah Thomas. The presentation also features a dazzling display of images by Columbus photographer, Stephen Pariser, that chronicle Columbus Jazz Orchestra performances through the years.
